I have practiced many forms of yoga including hatha, viniyoga, ashtanga, anusara and Iyengar, and I completed my RYT-200 hour teaching certificate through mBody San Luis Obispo with master teacher Peter Sterios in 2011. I now bring a blend of styles and experience into my personal practice and teaching. I have come to understand the personal nature of a practice and the wisdom that comes from listening to and respecting our bodies without judgement or expectation. The dynamic exercise provides enormous physical health benefits as the mental practice teaches patience, endurance, acceptance and, ultimately, clarity about life's path. In addition to teaching a variety of classes focused on individual empowerment and self knowledge, I also co-teach teacher trainings designed for individuals wanting to deepen their practice and gain the skills to share this beautiful gift.
Other than practicing and teaching yoga, I spend my days with with my two boys and my husband, playing and learning together, tending our farm, practicing the fiddle, learning the lost skills of our ancestors, and having an amazing life. I am full of gratitude.
